A raid on the Longacre Hotel room of a Senegalese peddler this week resulted in the seizure of counterfeit Rolex watches and provoked a retaliation in which the hotel manager was assaulted. Federal and city agents raided the room of Brian Naiaye in the Longacre at 317 W. 45th St. at 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 14 and seized about 2,000 phony Rolex watches, according to police at the scene who said Naiaye was not present but is still subject to arrest. Ray Cline, the manager recently engaged by a court-appointed receiver for the hotel, said a Senegalese tenant, Cathy Cisse, named in an eviction proceeding, started a fight with him a half hour after the raid. She was charged with assault.
